Crypto Prices Today (May 10): Bitcoin and major league altcoins have mainly embarked upon a remarkable bullish action, rallying against the backdrop of broader macro trends. While the flagship crypto briefly touched $104K as of early Asian hours on Saturday, ETH, XRP, BNB, and SOL surged 2%-6%. Some of the top meme coins for the day were DOGE, SHIB, and PEPE, which saw their prices rally 9%-13%. Simultaneously, the broader crypto market rally further jacked up the total cryptocurrency market volume to $3.27 trillion. The current bullish action primarily emerges in tandem with market expectations of unchanged interest rates by the U.S. Fed in the latest FOMC meeting. CoinGape reported that the Federal Reserve kept interest rates unchanged at 4.25%-4.50% this FOMC. Although this stance was hawkish, it remains in line with broader expectations. In turn, crypto prices have subsequently taken on and sustained a bullish trajectory. In the interim, the U.S. trade war buzz has also cooled down in the digital asset sector amid recent developments. CoinGape reported that American President Donald Trump is looking to lower tariffs in China to 80%. Previously, Trump also made a remarkable US-UK trade deal, considering lower tariffs. The upshot remains a bullish action among risk assets as the broader market digests trade war tensions. Crypto Prices Today: BTC, ETH, XRP, & SOL Bullish Bitcoin Price Today Amidst soaring optimism in light of the abovementioned macro developments, BTC price has extended weekly gains to nearly 8%, closing in at $103K as of press time. However, it’s notable that the flagship coin also briefly touched $104K this week, preventing any major setbacks. Coinglass data further indicated that Bitcoin’s futures OI rested at the $66 billion level this Saturday. Whereas, the flagship coin’s market dominance stood at 62.7%, per CoinMarketCap data. Despite these bullish dynamics, CoinGape reported that Bitcoin’s market dominance has topped. Notably, the daily, weekly, and monthly DeMark tops are in place, which signals an altcoin season may be brewing stronger than expected. Major Altcoin Prices Today ETH price has managed to pump by a remarkable 30% weekly in sync with other crypto prices, now resting at $2,363. Intraday gains for Ethereum as of press time totaled over 5%. The second-largest crypto by market cap also witnessed a 1.5% jump in its futures OI to $27.13 billion. The coin sees soaring investor optimism in the wake of a stockpile of bullish triggers. Donald Trump’s WLFI has stacked massive amounts of ETH, with reportedly $3.5 million worth of Ethereum scooped from exchanges. Further, the completion of the Pectra upgrade is also one of the triggers driving the price surge past $2,000. Broader market sentiments about the asset’s price still remain bullish. On the other hand, XRP price gained 3% this Saturday, exchanging hands at $2.37 as of reporting time. The Ripple-backed crypto has extended weekly price gains to nearly 8% in line with broader trends. Coinglass data showcased an 11% uptick in the coin’s futures OI to $4.11 billion today. BNB price was up 5% intraday, whilst +10% weekly, closing in at $661.27. Its futures OI was nearly 4% to $829.83 million. Solana price also mimicked an uptrend, extending weekly and intraday gains to 16% and 5%, respectively. The coin currently sits at $171, boasting a market cap of $88.96 billion. Meme Crypto Prices Today Dogecoin price witnessed an uptick of over 13% today, reaching $0.2234. Shiba Inu price also followed a bullish suit, pumping 9% to $0.00001585.
