As per the data from Cyvers Alerts, an exploiter has attacked Mobius Token ($MBU) smart contracts on BNB Chain, draining a massive $2.15M. The blockchain security platform took to social media to reveal this incident. Attacker Drains $2.15M from Mobius Token Smart Contracts with Malicious Deployment Cyvers Alerts asserted that the attacker exploited the Mobius Token ($MBU) smart contracts by deploying a malicious smart contract. Following that, a swift exploitation phase took place, resulting in a $2.15M in losses. Based on the market data, the attacker implemented the contract from the address “0xb3c.....42600.” After that, the respective address interacted with the Mobius Token ($MBU) smart contracts. In this way, it executed malicious functions to take away the above-mentioned amount. Overall, the attacker drained $2,152,219.99 via the exploit. Apart from that, further balance movements take into account a slight loss of up to 1 $BNB (nearly $656.4) from the activities of the deployer as well as intermediary wallet.
