However, Truth Social denied the recent rumors and announced on its official account that it will not be issuing a memecoin. “Fake news alert: Contrary to rumors, Truth Social is not launching a memecoin. Donald Trump's eldest son, Donald Trump Jr., also said on his X account, “There is no truth to Truth Social launching a memecoin. Don't be fooled by the misinformation people are circulating.” The rumors began to spread after Ran Neuner, host of CNBC’s Crypto Banter podcast, claimed that Truth Social would be issuing tokens and that they would be available within the next 72 hours. World Liberty Financial (WLFI) has stated that recent claims about a new Trump crypto project on X are false. WLFI emphasized that it is the only DeFi project officially endorsed by the Trump family, with the team stating that all other tokens claiming ties to Trump are scams. “Don't get caught up.
